Kaditj Internet Café, at 201 Beaufort Street in Northbridge, is located in a building that holds a significant ?place in the history of Western Australia’s Indigenous community. It was known for many years as the Aboriginal Centre, until in 1968 when it was renamed, the Aboriginal Advancement Council Building.  Kaditj Internet Café is a partnership between Peedac Pty Ltd and Aus1 Group. Peedac, is a not-for-profit (NFP) company, all Peedac profits go towards meeting its social obligations. The café is an avenue for Aboriginal people to attian a training position in hospitality and related industries. Once fully operational, Kaditj Internet Café patrons will experience local Aboriginal hospitality and gain valuable insight into Aboriginal culture.  Kaditj Internet Café is a professional, friendly and community oriented venue offering a range of choices from light snacks and the freshest coffee to wireless internet that can be accessed from a PDA or laptop. There are 15 multimedia PC workstations with 22” monitors. Food and drinks can be ordered from any café table or workstation while using the café’s super fast 100mbs fibre-optic internet connection.  The unique mezzanine area over the Kaditj Internet Café is ideal for hosting business meetings or social ?gatherings. At Kaditj Internet Café there is a dedicated functions co-ordinator and catering service that ensures every booked conference and training session runs smoothly from start to finish. Centrally located on the Blue Kat TransPerth bus route, the Kaditj Internet Café offers a convenient city location, is walking distance from backpackers hostels and colleges and has plenty of street parking.
